Our idea consist in a modification of a simple beach umbrella, adding on it some photovoltaic panels, made of amorphous tissue, and so very light and thin. These panels will bring energy by the sun and it will be converted by a converter and used to recharge electronic devices, like phones, computers and tablets. Every umbrella will provide a quantity of energy of about 20 watt, which can be exploited through power outlets closed by special waterproof plastic containers (to avoid contact with water, sand, and to ensure more safety in the presence of children) placed on the rod of the umbrella. Our product takes the name of “flower power”, because it will have the form of a sunflower, a special flower that changes its position according to the sun, like our product. In fact, there will be a mechanical arm that allows the movement of the umbrella.
